The First Day

You Have Just Lost Your Pet

Read this section on searching for your pet, then check the appropriate link below.

Tips on Searching

Try to have a driver and several "lookers." Leave your flashers on.
Stop often and, if you are in a quiet area, turn the motor off. Listen for barking dogs.
Talk to as many people as you can, The mailman, Newspaper person, UPS etc.
Give them your phone number.
Try to think like your pet. If he or she likes water, look for water.
Talk to children, offer them a reward.
Let people see you putting up signs.
Make a "Lost Pet" sign on your car windows with liquid shoe polish.
In some places, you may do better on a bike or walking.
